Youth exchange · Phase VII

युवा संगम Where the Sahyadri
meets the Himalaya.

An education-cum-cultural exchange that sends Maharashtra's youth to Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh — and welcomes theirs to ours. IIT Bombay is the Nodal Institution for Maharashtra, paired with NIT Srinagar.

One nation, understood first-hand — by its youth.

Yuva Sangam is a youth exchange programme under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) — the Government of India's initiative to build mutual understanding between the people of different States and UTs.

First launched in 2023, it pairs Higher Education Institutions from two different States/UTs to run reciprocal exposure tours of 5–7 days — sending their own youth to the paired state, and hosting the paired state's youth in return.

It is built around experiential learning: direct, first-hand exposure to another part of India's diversity, explicitly aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
